STAINLESS STEEL WELDING WIRES

TIG and MIG are both kinds of inert gas shielded welding. The inert gas can be argon or helium. Argon is more common because it is cheaper and commonly used, so they are also called metal argon arc welds. Metal Inert Gas (MIG), also commonly called Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) is automatic and the most used welding process. Stainless steel MIG welding wires are mainly used for welding stainless steel or other nickel alloy alloyed steel when continuous welding.

Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is the welding process that has the most applications. It can be carried out by either manual or mechanical processing and produces high-quality weld joints. The stainless steel TIG welding wire with the same or similar chemistry as the base metal can be used.
