AWS A5.10 ER5183 Welding Wire/Rod

As a typical Al-Mg filler metal, grade ER5183 containing a higher manganese element than ER5356. It offers excellent seawater corrosion resistance and low-temperature performance, can be used for welding Al-Mg alloy which needs a higher requirement of the tensile strength( Tensile strength of 276 Mpa or larger) such as 5083 and 5654 aluminum alloy welding, sometimes also applies to 6000 series aluminum alloy welding, is usually used for where need requirements of high strength, high impact fracture toughness and corrosion resistance like marine, refrigerated industrial structure and application, as well as low-temperature storage tanks, railway industry, chemical, food, shipping, aerospace and other fields. It is generally not recommended for welding with high-temperature resistance requirements because the joint is sensitive to stress corrosion cracks.
